What a J. Roux Design Relationship Includes

J. Roux Design & Associates, Inc. serves as a complete resource center in the construction, renovation and interior finishing of your home or business. We will provide recommendations on all the interior requirements as well as select all design elements for your project. We also provide coordination and supervision during installation and construction phases of remodeling and new construction. As a client of J. Roux Design you may choose to use all or part of these services

Design Fees-

Professional design service fees apply to all design related activities* and are billed hourly at different rates based on the level of the designer you are working with. In the event that more than one designer is present at designer-client appointments, only the lead designer’s time will be invoiced. A Design Service Deposit based on project scope may be required prior to project commencement and will be applied toward hourly activity.

Design Related Activities-

Billable design activities include and are not limited to the following activities: in-house and outside designer-client appointments, meetings with contractors, subcontractors and all other project service or product providers, space planning and drafting, Plumbing and electrical layout and selections, furniture and fixture selections, project specification completion and room finish schedules, vendor and product research, work order preparation, meeting preparation and follow-up communication and project status tracking, installation and construction coordination and supervision.

Purchasing-

By purchasing through J. Roux Design, you have access to hundreds of manufacturers, product suppliers, service providers and subcontractors. All items will be proposed to receive approval for ordering. Proposal information includes product pricing, freight, delivery, installation, taxes and required deposits. All orders require at least a 50% deposit with the balance, freight, delivery and taxes due at time of receipt. Fabric, wall covering and any specialty items require 100% prepayment. Ordering occurs once the studio has received signed proposals with applicable deposits.
